A Good Disease To Write About

Pears in Wine

never happened to you that you have a bottle of wine and do not know what to do with it?

Especially if you are not a lot of red wine and see that the only way to give out is using it to prepare something

So there's still taking advantage of winter pears, which are harder and meat should not be so steep of them as they do, I set out to use a bottle that was hanging around with them

pears in red wine pears

* 4
hard meat * 1 bottle of red wine
* 350 gr.
sugar * 1 orange rind
* Star Anise (1)
* 1 vanilla bean, halved 1 clove

* * 1 cinnamon stick

Peel pears, leaving the tail and giving them a small cut the base to remain standing and not fall

Meanwhile, put the wine in a saucepan and the rest of the ingredients and as we had some pears ready, we are introducing into the saucepan
let cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes or until they see that clicking the pears, these are a bit soft (The time will always vary depending on the type of bulb that we use)

When ready, let stand several hours or even up to 3 days (this will increasingly absorb the pear wine more color and more of the flavor permeate)

Before serving, we took the pears and put the liquid to reduce to leave a syrup or a consistency like honey, and pears will water the

NOTE: In my case, I like that sauce is more liquid to soak the bulb in it and thus have to take after a
